Welcome to the Willow House Inn centrally located in the historic town of Pictou. This spacious home was built in 1840 by David Matheson, a Barrister, who was the first Mayor of Pictou. There are four comfortable and spacious guest rooms and two two bedroom suites all with colour cable TV and air conditioning. The four guest rooms on the second floor all have ensuite baths and either king, queen or two double beds. On the third floor are two two bedroom suites, each with a queen bed and private bath. A full breakfast is included in the room rates. It is served in our cheery breakfast room each morning. Freshly baked muffins and homemade jams are featured as part of the menu. The Willow House Inn is a short walk from the picturesque downtown waterfront area where you will find unique shops, galleries and a variety of restaurants. Along the waterfront is the Hector Quay featuring the reconstructed Ship Heator and interpretive center. Pictou's history, dating back to the late 1700's, will unfold for you. The Jitney Trail begins at the marina on the waterfront and runs along the harbour. It is a level trail and is perfect for a stroll or cycling any time of day. Nearby are golf courses, excellent sandy beaches and the ferry to Prince Edward Island. Open year round - Off Season by reservation or by chance. Room Rates: From mid June until mid September                      Second Floor - $80.00 for two people                      Third floor - $120.00 for up to four people Off Season, Shoulder Season and weekly rates available upon request. Cancellation Policy: 48 hours Harmonized Sales Tax of 15% is additional to the room rates.
